Feeling anxious? You’re not alone.
We all feel it sometimes — before an exam, during a tough conversation, or when life just feels like too much.
And you know what? Anxiety isn’t always a bad thing. Sometimes it can push you to prepare better, or warn you when something feels off. But when anxiety starts taking over your thoughts and draining your energy, that’s when it stops helping and starts holding you back.
How Anxiety Shows Up
• Tight shoulders or headaches
• Dizziness or that “butterflies in your stomach” feeling
• Racing heart or shallow breathing
• Sleepless nights or trouble focusing
If any of this feels familiar, breathe. You are not broken. You’re human. And you can take steps to calm the storm.
What To Do When Anxiety Hits
• Call it out. Ask: “Is this worry helping me or just wearing me out?” Worrying without action doesn’t solve a thing.
• Focus on today. Most of the things we stress about never happen. Ask yourself: Will this still matter tomorrow? Next month? Next year? If not, let it go.
• Accept what you can’t control. Peace often comes from adjusting your mindset, not your circumstances.
• Zoom out. Is this a true crisis, or just an inconvenience? Not everything deserves your full energy.
• Talk it out. Don’t bottle it up. Share with a friend, a parent, or a mentor. Sometimes being heard is all it takes to breathe easier.
• Try calm tools. Journaling, deep breathing, music, drawing, a walk, prayer, or mindfulness — find what helps clear your mind and use it.

Final Word
Anxiety doesn’t define you. It’s simply your mind trying to protect you — sometimes a little too much. The goal isn’t to erase anxiety, but to keep it from running the show.
So be gentle with yourself. Take it one step at a time.
And remember — you’re stronger than you think.
I am rooting for you all the way.
